DANIEL KNOX
Associate / Drilling Manager

Daniel Knox joined the staff of Coleman Engineering Company as a
Drill Rig
Operator in 1990. In 1998 he was promoted to Drilling Manager, overseeing
drilling personnel and equipment. In 2000 he became an Associate in the company.
Mr. Knox graduated in 1983 from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in WI with
an A.S. in Architectural Engineering Technology. He holds numerous safety
certificates, a Class A Commercial Driver's License and is certified in
American Red Cross CPR and First Aid. He is also 40-Hour HAZWOPER trained and
medically monitored.
Mr. Knox has extensive experience in the drilling field and he is responsible for
all aspects of managing CEC’s Drilling Department. He is responsible for
estimating project costs and preparing proposals, as well as ensuring projects
are completed on time and within budget. He routinely assists clients in the
preparation of efficient, cost effective field drilling programs.
Mr. Knox's past clients included the States of Michigan and Wisconsin, LOE
consultants, several environmental and civil engineering firms, Native American tribes,
the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, mining companies and public utility companies.
He has completed projects on large electric transmission lines, hydroelectric
power dams, nuclear containment facilities, landfills, roads and bridges,
quarries and many other sites. He also has extensive experience drilling over
water from either Coleman Engineering Company’s barge or rental barges on many
lakes and rivers including the Great Lakes.
Dan resides in Florence, Wisconsin with his wife and two children and enjoys
woodworking and camping.
